“The gospel of Christ … is the power of God to salvation for every one who believes, for the Jew first…”

-Romans 1:16

42% of the world’s Jewish population lives in the USA. It is our desire that we will grow our staff, with an increasing number of missionaries; have an increasing impact upon local churches to be more intentional and sensitive in Jewish evangelism; and have a nationwide network of supporters who are able to fund and pray for this vital ministry among God’s ancient people.

Our Ministry at CWI North America

History

Christian Witness to Israel (CWI) was formed by the amalgamation of two evangelical and interdenominational societies: the International Society for Evangelization of the Jews (IJS) and the Barbican Mission to the Jews (BMJ). Both were motivated by the fact that “the gospel of Christ … is the power of God to salvation for every one who believes, for the Jew first…”

CWI Today

We have missionaries worldwide reaching out to Jewish people in a range of different settings and environments. We conduct regular book-table outreach to Orthodox Jews, door-to-door work in Jewish areas, outreach to Jewish people involved in New Age practices, Bible studies with Jewish people and general relationship evangelism in our efforts to take the good news of Messiah to Jewish people.

Our Beliefs

In its ministry to the Jewish people, Christian Witness to Israel maintains its unreserved allegiance to God’s Holy and inerrant Word, the Holy Scriptures as taught by the Protestant churches, and delineated in the historic confessions of the Reformation.
